When you think of Disney World, you probably immediately think of the Magic Kingdom. The original park, opened as part of the Walt Disney World Resort, has welcomed visitors since 1971. With famous attractions like Cinderella Castle and nostalgic Magic Kingdom rides like Peter Pan's Flight or Pirates of the Caribbean, there are endless things to do in a day . We'll show you your guide to the Magic Kingdom dining, tours, entertainment, and more you need to know when planning your visit.1
Magic Kingdom ticket prices vary. You can buy day or multi-day passes, with prices ranging from $109 to $189, depending on the day you plan to visit.2
If you are visiting the Magic Kingdom or any of the Disney World parks, you must pre-book your park pass. Once you have a valid park, you can book a park pass online and indicate your intention to visit the park that day.3
Magic Kingdom hours of operation vary by day and season, but generally the park is open from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm. That might change when special tickets close the park to guests early, like B. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Therefore, you should find out about the park's opening hours before your visit.4
If you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can take advantage of early access to theme parks up to 30 minutes before official opening. Plus, if you're staying at a luxury resort, you can take advantage of the longer night hours. Certain nights at certain parks extend the night hours, allowing luxury hotel guests to stay two hours longer after the park closes for everyone else. Make sure you know the time in advance!5,6
