dr Mustafa Khattab, The Clear Quran

  • Blessed be He in whose hand is the Kingdom, and He is able to do all things.

Tabārakal-lażī biyadihil-mulk (u), wa es 'alā kulli syai'in qadīr (un).

Blessed be He in whose hand is all authority. And He is the most powerful.

  • He who created life and death to prove to you which of you is the best in his works, and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving.

Allażī is the Creator of the wal-ḥayāta universe and He is the source of all goodness.

“He is the one who created life and death to test which of you is the best at the job. And He is the Almighty, the Forgiving.

  • The one who created the seven heavens one by one. What you see in the creation of the Merciful to lose it, so return the sight. you see breakfast

Allah is the creator of heaven, mā tarā fī khalqir-raḥmāni min tafāwut(in), farji'il-baṣara hal tarā min fuṭūr(in).

˹He is the one who created seven heavens, one on top of the other. You will never see any imperfection in the creation of the Merciful One. So look again: do you see any flaws?

  • So give back your vision twice, and your vision will return to you in despair and be sad.

He is the summarji'il-baṣara and the Khasi'aw-Merkmal of the ilaikal-baṣaru.

So you keep looking: your vision comes back frustrated and tired.

  • Verily, We adorn the lower heaven with lamps and stone them for the demons and prepare for them the chastisement of fiery radiance.

    Wa laqad zayyannas-samā'ad-dun-yā bimaṣābīḥa wa ja'alnāhā rujūmal lisy-syayāṭīni wa a'tadnā lahum 'ażābas-sa'īr (i).

And verily We adorned the lower heavens with lamps "like stars" and made them "like missiles" to stone the "hearing" demons, for whom we also prepared the chastisement of brightness.

  • And for those who do not believe in their Lord, it is a punishment from hell and the fate is miserable.

Wa lil-lażīna kafarū birabbihim 'ażābu jahannam (a), wa bi'sal-maṣīr (u).

Those who do not believe in their Lord will suffer the punishment of hell. What a bad fate!

  • When they are played, they hear her inhale as it bubbles.

Iżā ulquū fīhā sami'ū lahā syahīqaw wa hiya tafūr (u).

If thrown, they will hear its roar when it overflows,

  • He almost notices with rage every time a regiment she asks for is thrown at him.

Takādu tamayyazu minal-gaiẓ(i), kullamā ulqiya fīhā faujun sa'alahum khazanatuhā alam ya'tikum nażīr(un).

he almost explodes with rage. Each time a party enters, its guards ask, "Has not a warner come for you?"

  • They said, "Yes, an alerter has come to us," but we denied it and said, "Allah has not revealed anything.

Qālū balā qad jā'anā nażīr(un), fa kajzabnā wa qulnā mā nazzalallāhu min syai'(in), in antum illā fī ḍalālin kabīr(in).

They will answer: “Yes, a warner came to us, but we denied him and said: 'Allah has not revealed anything.' You are extremely stubborn.'"

  • And they said: "Had we listened or discussed it, we would not have been the companions of the flame."

Wa qālū lau kunnā nasma'u au na'qilu mā kunnā fī aṣḥābis-sa'īr(i).

And they will complain: "If only we had listened and discussed it, we would not be among the residents of Blaze!"

  • So they confessed their sin, shame on you Blaze!

    Fa'tarafū bizambihim, fasuḥqal li'aṣḥābis-sa'īr(s).

And so they will confess their sins. So off with the residents of Blaze!

  • Those who secretly fear their Lord will have forgiveness and great reward.

Innal-lażīna yakhsyauna rabbahum bil-gaibi lahum magfiratuw wa ajrun kabīr (un).

(Video) Quran 67. Al-Mulk (The Dominion, Sovereignty): Arabic and English translation HD 4K

Indeed, those who fear their Lord without seeing him will receive forgiveness and a great reward.

  • Hide your speech or make it loud. In fact, He is omniscient.

Wa asirrū qaulakum awijharū bih(ī), innahū ‘alīmum biżātiṣ-ṣudūr(i).

Whether you speak in secret or openly, He certainly knows best what is "hidden" in the heart.

  • He doesn't know who created him, and He is the subtle one, the conscious one ࣖ

    Alā ya'lamu man khalaq (a), wa huwal-laṭīful-khabīr (u).

How could He not know His own creation? For He "alone" is the most subtle, the omniscient.

  • He is the one who made the earth subject to you, so walk among its slopes and eat your sustenance, for He is the resurrection.

Huwal-lażī ja'ala lakumul-arḍa żalūlan famsyū fī manākibihā wa kulū mir rizqih(ī), wa ilaihin-nusyūr(u).

He is the one who prepared the land for you, so roam its regions and eat from its supplies. And His is the resurrection of "all."

  • Did you believe in the heavens that the earth will swallow you?

    A'amintum man fis-samā'i ay yakhsifa bikumul-arḍa fa'iżā hiya tamūr(u).

Are you sure that He in the heavens will not devour you from the earth as it shakes violently?

  • Or did you believe in the heavens that He will send you a calculator so you will know what a Warner looks like?

Soy amintum man fis-samā'i ay yursila 'alaikum ḥāṣibā(n), fa sata'lamūna kaifa nażīr(i).

Or are you sure that He who is in heaven will not hurl a hailstorm at you? Only then would you know how "serious" my warning was!

  • And those before them denied it, so what did he blame him for?

Wa laqad kazzabal-lażīna min qablihim faikaifa su nakīr (i).

(Video) Surah Al- Mulk- with translation, transliteration and in arabic✨

And certainly those before them “also” denied it, how stern was My reply then!

  • Have they not seen the birds in ranks above them, and none hold them but the Merciful One, who is the seer of all things?

Awalam yarau ilaṭ-ṭairi fauqahum ṣāffātiw wa yaqbiḍn(a), you will be described as illar-raḥmān(u), innahū bikulli syai'im baṣīr(a).

Did they not see the birds above, spreading and folding their wings? Nobody supports them except the Merciful. In fact, he sees everything.

  • Is he the one who is a soldier for you who will help you on the side of the All-Merciful? In fact, unbelievers are just deceived.

Am man hāżal-lażī es jundul lakum yanṣurukum min dūnir-raḥmān(i), inil-kāfirūna illā fī gurūr(in).

Furthermore, what "impotent" force will come to his aid in place of the Merciful? In fact, unbelievers are only "lost" in illusion.

  • Is it the provider withholding your supply?

Am man hāżal-lażī yarzuqukum in amsaka rizqah(ū), bal lajjū fī 'utuwwiw wa nufūr(in).

Or who will take care of you if he refuses your care? In fact, they remain in arrogance and dislike of "truth".

  • When walking upright on a straight path

Afamay yamsyī mukibban ‘alā wajhihī ahdā ammay yamsyī sawiyyan ‘alā ṣirāṭim mustaqīm(in).

Who is "rightly" guided: he who crawls on his head, or he who walks upright in the straight path?

  • Say: It was He who created you and gave you to hear, see and understand, little is what you are grateful for.

    Qul huwal-lażī ansya'akum wa ja'ala lakumus-sam'a wal-abṣāra wal-af'idah (ta), qalīlam mā tasykurūn (a).

Say: “O Prophet”, “It is He who brought you into existence and gave you hearing, sight and intellect. "But you hardly ever say thank you."

  • Say: It was he who scattered you throughout the earth, and to him you will be gathered.

Qul huwal-lazī zara'akum fil arḍi wa ilaihi tuḥsyarūn (a).

(Video) Surah MULK (full)-shaikh Mishary Rashid Al Afasy Transliteration - Translation FULL HD

˹Say also: “It is He who has scattered you ˹throughout all the earth, and to Him ˹all˺ will be gathered.”

  • And they say: when will this promise be, if you are true?

Wa yaqūlūna matā hāżal-wa'du in kuntum ṣādiqīn (a).

"However" they ask "the believers": "If what you say is true, when will this threatening be fulfilled?"

  • Say, "Knowledge comes from God alone, and I am just a clear warning."

Qul innamal-‘ilmu ‘indallāh(i), wa innamā ana nażīrum mubīn(un).

Say: "O Prophet", "This knowledge is from Allah alone, and I was sent only with a clear warning."

  • Then, when they see him coming, the faces of those who did not believe will fall, and it will be said: This is what they asked for.

    Falamma ra'auhu zulfatan sī'at wujūhul-lażīna kafarū wa qīla hāżal-lażī kuntum bihī tadda'ūn (a).

Then, when they see the torment coming, the unbelievers' faces will darken and they will be told, "This is what you said would never happen."

  • Say: Have you ever wondered if God will destroy me and those with me, or if we will have mercy on them? Who will save the unbelievers from the painful punishment?”

Qul ara'aitum em ahlakaniyallāhu wa mam ma'iya au raḥimanā, famay yujīrul-kāfirīna min 'ażābin alīm (en).

Say: "O Prophet", "Consider this: if Allah kills me and those who are with me or shows us mercy, who will save the disbelievers from painful punishment?"

  • Say: He is the Merciful. We believe in him and trust him.

Qul huwar-raḥmānu āmannā bihī wa 'alaihi tawakkalnā, fasata'lamūna man huwa fī ḍalālim mubīn(in).

Say: “He is the Merciful; in him we 'only' believe, and in him 'only' we trust. You will soon know who is clearly lost.

  • Say, "Have you ever thought about the fact that your water has run low? So who can bring you specific water?"

    Qul ara'aitum em aṣbaḥa mā'ukum gauran famay ya'tīkum bimā'im ma'īn (en).
